The Production Manager is the operational backbone of Omadili RTW. This role sits at the intersection of production oversight, quality assurance, and day-to-day studio operations. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in garment production alongside strong organisational and operational management skills — someone who can run the floor and the systems simultaneously.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

— Oversee end-to-end production
— from fabric intake and cutting to finished garment output
— Manage and coordinate the tailoring team, ensuring daily output targets are met with consistency
— Implement and maintain the studio’s design-to-delivery workflow and production processes
— Conduct quality control checks at each stage of production, ensuring all garments meet brand standards
— Track and manage fabric inventory, trimmings, and production materials to avoid shortages or waste
— Liaise with the Creative Lead on production schedules, capacity planning, and design handover
— Coordinate with the Pattern Maker to ensure patterns are production-ready and clearly communicated to tailors
— Maintain accurate production records
— output, rework rates, timelines, and stock levels
— Identify bottlenecks in the production process and implement solutions proactively
— Manage vendor and supplier relationships for production-related materials and services
— Support the onboarding and training of new production staff as the team grows.

REQUIREMENTS

— 3–5 years of experience in garment production management or a similar role in a fashion or manufacturing environment
— Strong working knowledge of garment construction, quality standards, and production workflows
— Proven ability to manage a small team and drive output without compromising quality
— Excellent organisational skills
— able to track multiple production lines simultaneously
— Familiarity with task tracking tools and basic operations management systems
— Ability to read and interpret technical packs, patterns, and production documents
— Detail-oriented with a zero-tolerance approach to quality lapses
— Strong communication and problem-solving skills
— Experience in women’s ready-to-wear or corporate attire production is a strong advantage

 

COMPENSATION

Salary range: ₦200,000 – ₦250,000 / month Benchmarked to experience and operational scope.
Performance bonuses tied to production efficiency, quality output, and milestone delivery.
