About Course

The DIGITAL PATTERN MAKING program is designed to transition manual pattern makers and fashion professionals into a digital environment. It emphasizes industry-standard CAD systems, digital drafting, advanced pattern manipulation, and production-ready workflows. The goal is to blend technical precision with speed and professional discipline required for factory-level manufacturing.

How the six months run

Two stages of training in Lagos, then real work experience with a brand.

Weeks 1 to 8

Live training

Three sessions a week, five hours each. Lectures, workshops and case studies, with a technical design deliverable due every week.

Weeks 9 to 12

Assessment and capstone

A written exam, a timed mystery-garment tech pack, one-to-one instructor reviews, and a live capstone presentation at an in-person showcase with industry judges.

Months 4 to 6

Paid practicum

Three months of paid placement with a partner fashion brand, working on real products.

Hybrid format. Theory sessions can be joined online. Hands-on technical work happens in person at our studio in Yaba, Lagos.

No. The programme is open to beginners as well as practising designers and tailors. You start with the fundamentals and progress to advanced tech packs.

Hybrid. Theory sessions can be joined online, but hands-on technical work requires in-person attendance at our studio in Yaba, Lagos.
