"The Bridge Program Empowers Future Fashion Leaders with Essential Skills in Lagos”
The Bridge Program, a transformative initiative which commenced on August 31st, 2024, and aimed at equipping fashion professionals with in-demand skills, successfully concluded its first cohort on October 12, 2024. The program brought together 30 participants and 21 facilitators, offering four distinct learning pathways: Fashion Business Management, Fashion Business Intelligence, Apparel Production Management, and Apparel Retail and Merchandising.
The Bridge Program culminated in an inspiring Entrepreneurship Day held at Admire Wardrobe in Lagos, where participants showcased their case studies, tackling various business challenges and presenting innovative solutions. Esteemed judges for the presentations included notable industry leaders:

Professor Adebisi, Director of the Entrepreneurship and Skills Development Centre at the University of Lagos, also attended the event and engaged with participants, emphasizing the importance of building sustainable fashion businesses.
Throughout the six-week program, participants not only gained valuable insights from
industry experts but also engaged in hands-on learning through field trips to KLO
Manufacturing Fashion Company and Trax Apparel, further enriching their understanding of the fashion landscape.
The Bridge Program aims to cultivate a new generation of fashion leaders equipped with the necessary skills to thrive in the industry. This initiative represents a vital step toward
empowering fashion professionals and promoting sustainable practices within the sector.
