Fashion Business Admin (Hybrid)

MELONI – Akoka, Yaba, Lagos – Nigeria.

Salary: #50,000-#80,000

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to various departments within the fashion business, including but not limited to sales, marketing, production, and design.
  • Manage office logistics, including scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and maintaining office supplies inventory.
  • Assist in the creation and distribution of internal communications, memos, and reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Handle incoming inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, and route them to the appropriate department or personnel for resolution.
  • Maintain and update databases, spreadsheets, and other records related to inventory, sales orders, customer information, and supplier contacts.
  • Assist in the organization and execution of events such as fashion shows, product launches, and industry exhibitions, including venue booking, vendor coordination, and guest management.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to process invoices, track expenses, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable as needed.
  • Support the sales team with order processing, customer inquiries, and shipment tracking, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in the coordination of product samples, including receiving, cataloging, and distributing them to relevant stakeholders.

 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, fashion merchandising, or related field.
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within the fashion industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with database management systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, record-keeping, and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle evolving priorities and changing business needs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of fashion industry terminology, trends, and key players is desirable.
  • A passion for fashion and a genuine interest in contributing to the success of the business.
