MELONI needs a
Fashion Business Admin
Meloni is a ready to wear and bespoke women clothing line.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to various departments within the fashion business, including but not limited to sales, marketing, production, and design.
- Manage office logistics, including scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and maintaining office supplies inventory.
- Assist in the creation and distribution of internal communications, memos, and reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Handle incoming inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, and route them to the appropriate department or personnel for resolution.
- Maintain and update databases, spreadsheets, and other records related to inventory, sales orders, customer information, and supplier contacts.
- Assist in the organization and execution of events such as fashion shows, product launches, and industry exhibitions, including venue booking, vendor coordination, and guest management.
- Collaborate with the finance department to process invoices, track expenses, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable as needed.
- Support the sales team with order processing, customer inquiries, and shipment tracking, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Assist in the coordination of product samples, including receiving, cataloging, and distributing them to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, fashion merchandising, or related field.
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within the fashion industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with database management systems.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, record-keeping, and documentation.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle evolving priorities and changing business needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of fashion industry terminology, trends, and key players is desirable.
- A passion for fashion and a genuine interest in contributing to the success of the business.
